Thumper on Stadia

New free games for Google Stadia Pro are available

If you have a Google Stadia Pro subscription then you should know that January’s free games are now available to be redeemed without extra charge. The two games this month are Rise of the Tomb Raider and Thumper.

How to redeem the Google Stadia Pro free games

  1. Open the Stadia app and go to the Store
  2. Scroll down to the Stadia Pro games section then click “See All”
  3. The free games will have the price crossed out and have a “free” tag as well
  4. Just tap the game and then “Claim” to add it to your library

The free games that you claim will only be available to you for as long as you have your subscription. So cancelling it means you cannot play the freebies. This is standard for subscription services so be sure to not let your subscription expire if you still want to play them!

Rise of the Tomb Raider released in 2015 as the direct sequel to the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot. So while it’s not the most recent game, it’s still worth playing. Thumper on the other hand, is a rhythm action game built on speed and released originally for VR in 2016 though it’s no longer a VR exclusive. Thumper is fast, action packed and an incredible game that you really don’t want to miss.
