Superhot Review

Superhot is an independent shooting game that is quite different from other games of the same category. The game was developed as well as published by the Superhot Team.

Though superhot game follows the traditional shooting mechanics similar to other shooting games, still there are various things in this game that you may not find in other game. One significant difference is time feature. The time in the game stop when the player movement stop, which makes it fun to experience the game.

The superhot game was released for all the popular as well as classic consoles including Nintendo Switch, Linux, OS X, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, Oculus Quest and Xbox One.

OS X, Linux, Xbox One and Windows version of the game was available for worldwide players in 2016 while PS4 users were able to experience the game in 2017. Recently in 2019, the game made an entrance on Nintendo Switch and Oculus Quest platforms. The Google Stadia version was released June 2020 for Stadia Pro subscribers.

Gameplay

The superhot game takes place in a minimalistic environment and is played from a first-person view. Similar to the other shooting game, players have to pick up the weapons and start killing enemies.

Weapons given to the players have a limited amount of bullets, so the player has to kill the enemies and get their ammo. You are just single hit away from the death, which means that with a single opponent bullet hit the players die.

After hitting the single gunshot to the player character, the game will restart, which I believe is a great thing to add because of the time stop features. The time stop when the player stop moving, which give the player extra time to hit the opponent and save himself from the enemy bullet.

Story

A player operates a fictional edition of themselves by relaxing in front of the DOS prompt. The player receives a notification from one of his friend who offer him a newly leaked copy of the latest game known as superhot.exe.

Player friends claim that crack is the only way to get this game. Starting the game put the character into a different series of unconnected levels based on killing hostiles.

Graphics

The Superhot game comes up with straightforward graphics. You will see a white wall throughout the game. The opponents are of red color that seems funny. Even the opponent doesn’t look like real human beings.

After heating the enemies, they break like glass which seems odd. The game graphics are straightforward and far away from reality. But even with this quality of graphics, you will still love playing this game.

Superhot is an addictive game that offers some distinct features which you might not experience in most of the other shooting games. It is a first-person shooting game that arrives with a minimum collection of weapons and demands the player to kill the enemies.

The time-stopping features make thing game quite different from its competitors. This features has attractive many gamers to this shooting game.
