Stacks on Stacks is a fun video game that has been around for a while in the gaming industry. The game was developed by Ian Sundstrom (Herringbone Games) who put a lot of effort into this small yet exciting video game while the sound and other effects were added by Elie Abraham. Stacks on Stacks is available on Steam so you can enjoy competing with your friends.
When it comes to Stacks on Stacks, do not expect any breakthrough game physics or hardcore gameplay because it is a game built on a fairly simple concept. You have to arrange bricks falling from the sky into a neat stack. Sound familiar? Well, it is kind of similar to Tetris but add in a mix of 3D and a flush of colors everywhere. The laws of physics also come in play in this game and unlike in Tetris where one brick can stack on another regardless of its shape or size, the bricks in this game fall over if they are not balanced. This certain element makes the simple concept of falling bricks extremely exciting.
The game challenges you to build tall stacks and as you climb up the levels the goal in each level increases to make things challenging. What’s more, you get to wreck the entire structure once you beat a level and that’s entirely for fun! There is a timer also in place so completing a level faster will earn you more stars and stars will ultimately help you open up more levels. Further in the game the speed with which the blocks are falling increases but the surface on which they land also changes, making it hard for you to balance the falling bricks and build a perfect stack. Once you lose all your lives you get to restart the level.
Stacks on Stack (On Stacks) is a nice way to kill time. It is the most riveting, challenging, and competitive game out there, meaning you won’t ever get bored playing it. If you are looking for something not too hardcore, this is the game for you.
