Destroy All Humans on Google Stadia

Destroy All Humans! Review

Have you ever wanted to play a game where you are an alien destroying people’s lives? Destroy All Humans is the right title to try out then, as that’s all you have to do here. The remastered version from 2020 brings this game to the modern consoles and it’s upgrading the visuals and quality in some really impressive ways. With that being said, the thing that makes this game stand out is Crypto and the dark humor, fun moments and the great attention to detail.

The main role for you as an alien is to find your clone sibling, retrieve any alien tech from Earth and also mine humans for their DNA. Needless to say, the gameplay is very immersive and you can explore a lot of different locations either on foot or with your ship. Destroy All Humans has 6 small open worlds in the US. They are quite varied too, since they range from Washington DC to California or a Midwest farmland. But the thing that they continue to keep here is the constant sense of immersion, unique quality and tremendous focus on making the game fun.

What we liked in Destroy All Humans is that every location has its own set of stories. Aside from that, there are side missions too. Some of those are actually very fun, since you have Crypto racing a drone, destroying properties or abducting a certain number of people. Which is great, because it’s insanely fun, creative and it pushes the limits all the time.

Of course, all these missions are important because they bring you one step closer to your goal. In this case, you want to complete missions in order to acquire bucks that you then spend on upgrades. It all adds up to deliver a very engaging and immersive experience, all of which is incredibly exciting and empowering moments as well.

Another thing to note is that in Destroy All Humans every weapon comes with its own upgrades. The same thing can be said about the ship and its shields. Even Crypto has telekinetic abilities that can be upgraded. All of these are a lot of fun, very interesting and you will find yourself exploring a vast range of options and ways to improve your capabilities. Again, it all comes down to really pushing the boundaries and bringing in new, creative ways to play. That’s what Destroy All Humans is all about, and it does a spectacular job at that.
