A recent press release from CD Projekt Red (read it here) re-stated the release dates for the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 game. For PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 the game will be releasing on September 17th. However, they’ve now revealed that it won’t be on Google Stadia then.
The Google Stadia version will be releasing “by the end of the year” instead. The developer offered no information about why the game was delayed for a Stadia release. Though it is understandable that the developer would prioritise the bigger platforms first.
Cyberpunk 2077 Google Stadia edition will be releasing at some point but will not launch alongside the other versions of the game. However, the game was originally due for release in April and was pushed back 5 months to a September 2020 release instead. It was originally hoped that the developer would have been able to ensure a Google Stadia release at the same time due to this delay.
