While the Google Stadia launch has been less than amazing, Google has now tweeted that it has finally given access codes to everyone who purchased the $130 Stadia Founder’s Edition. Some of the people without codes actually had their Stadia controllers, they just couldn’t use them since they had no access to the platform.
It’s all fine now however! Google has emailed the access codes to each person though it’s unclear why they decided to not do so until the physical packages had been mailed. Google also seems to have sent out those packages in some kind of first-come, first-served basis instead of all at once.
While that was definitely something that frustrated users, all founders now have their Google Stadia access code. If you’re still waiting on a code, check the email you signed up with thoroughly. It’s most likely there now. If it’s not then get in touch with support, they will be able to help you get access pretty quickly.
